Larry Spelts, Managing Director of New York City’s prestigious Core Club, has over twenty years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry.  His experience has focused on both new development and renovations and repositioning of older properties from Relais & Châteaux in Charleston, South Carolina to the Carlyle Hotel in New York City.  His latest project, The Core Club, opened in late 2005 as a new interpretation of a private membership club featuring lodging, dining, spa, fitness and other services while providing members with social and business networking opportunities combined with presentations of compelling programs through web, media, and club settings. Plans are currently under way for a second club in Los Angeles.
