Compact High-Capacity Particulate, Chemical and Odor Control The GCX Series is engineered to provide maximum control of gaseous chemicals in a compact room air purifier. Just like a professional gas mask, the GCX Series relies on an interchangeable cartridge design for optimized gaseous pollutant control. And while molecular control is a particular strength of these systems, the GCX Series also offers excellent filtration efficiency for particles. Thanks to its selectable cartridges, the IQAir GCX series is able to meet almost any moderate gas phase removal need in light commercial environments. Currently there are four specialized gas phase media configurations available:GCX VOC (for control of volatile organic compounds, solvents, etc.) GCX MultiGas (for control of wide range of gaseous organic and inorganic chemicals) GCX Chemisorber (for control of formaldehyde, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, etc.) GCX AM (for control of ammonia and ammonia compounds) The GCX Series also features advanced anti-tampering features that prevent the unauthorized access to filters or disconnection of the system in public areas.Applications

Compared to the GC Series the GCX Series features nearly 75% more filtration media and as a result provides about 20% more airflow and longer filter service life.
1. Micro- and nano-particle filtration Eliminates micro- and nano-particles such as allergens, smoke, bacteria and viruses. This thorough particle pre-filtration is essential for prec life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging with particulates.
2. Specialized cartridge-based molecular control Four filter cartridges hold up to 25 lbs. of granular and/or pellet-shaped gas phase control media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high airflow rates.
3. Micro-charged filtration Eliminates activated carbon and chemisorption abrasion partices through a charged fiber structure. |
